I'm packed and if i forgot anything, well i'm sure it can be found in one of the gazillion shops in Toronto.
[livejournal.com profile] gramie_dee has gone to the airport and is necking coffee while he waits for the gate to be announced.
Next i just have to work out where to find him in the Toronto airport. I am pretty sure he arrives at the terminal that i do NOT arrive at so i will have to find my way there. I have a few hours though so i'm not worried. There's a little rail commuter car between the terminals.
I'm all checked in already via the web with boarding pass successfully printed. I don't expect it to be an overly comfortable flight for me but it's only an hour and a half.

Ooh did i mention i entered a Twitter competition and was one of the winners? (Yes i'm a twit) The travel site i use (well, one of them), IgoUgo, had a competition where you could tweet a logo for the site. They picked their three favourites for a prize of an Amazon 50$ gift card which arrived this week. My logo was "Your journey starts here". The other two were, imo, a bit lame. I don't know if they'll use the exact logo or if they'll use it as inspiration but i don't care! It's one of the sites i use to put my travelogues and some photos on. They have travelogues, and user reviews of attractions, restaurants, hotels and other stuff for destinations. If you are a (free) member, you accumulate points for every review and photo you submit and you can cash them in for gift cards. I mainly use Amazon ones. When this gift card arrived, the return address was Travelocity i think, so they must be affiliated with them. Usually the gift cards are just sent electronically. I can also choose which amazon i want the card from usually, so sometimes i get it for the UK amazon if there's something i want there and can get it sent to Graham's address. Useful for Christmas pressies! This card is for the .com American one but that's ok. It's all good!
