Dad update
Dad saw his specialist today who just said "oh well i guess we should have done the throat procedure before now" yeah. right. They never tell you about these things, never warn you what might happen and that it's quite normal for this and other sorts of post-operative complications. Anyway he was comfortable and walking the halls of the hospital and he will have the procedure tomorrow. They'll keep him in overnight to make sure he can swallow ok before they let him come home. That's good for Mom too who won't worry so much over the immediate post-op stuff. They were just doing it as a day surgery type thing.
Attended a Corrie ping and had a nice time as usual. Friends Katherine and Keith were visiting from Labrador so it was nice to see them. On the way back i filled up Dad's car with gas (ouch, $1.049 per litre). One of the radio stations had a promotion (Q104.3) with an independent gas station out in Sackville for 104.3 minutes they reduced the price of gas 10.43 cents a litre this afternoon for motorists that had a Q104 sticker on the car.
Mom took me, Laurie and Staci out for supper tonight.
