(no subject)

W00t! I sold a painting! I've sold a couple before, to family members but this is to someone different, a chat room friend who lives in Montreal. It's one of my favourite paintings too but i decided not to be sentimental and i sold it for $75 unframed. This one of the dark moody lake with the flowers in the foreground. It's actually hanging in my workstation at the moment, in a photo frame with glass over it but i won't send that frame. She will want to frame it herself. I have no idea what to charge when someone asks how much and i'm sure even unframed, $75 is underpriced (8x10") but it's still kind of exciting! Actually i was going to ask $50 but thought, no, i'll ask 75 and if she thinks that is too much, i'll go down to 50 but no lower. She accepted it without a blink. :) that more than paid for the shoes i bought yesterday and the movie as well! Hmm and the few bags of groceries and cab ride home!

Mom and i are going to check out the new Wally World today, i have a few little household things i would like to get including a new broom. Mine has been leaving more than it's sweeping lately. I want new slippers as well. My old ones are nice but slide off too easily and i shuffle in them. I want something a bit closer fitted. Might check out the cheap dvd's as well.
