Feb. 25th, 2015 02:51 pmI think I may be getting the new computer this weekend. See, the one I want is at Staples and my sister works there and gets 10% off. But she has to be with me. Possibly even pay for it but i can send her the money.
I've been looking at upgrading my phone and my contract is due to finish at the start of May. Only 2 months left. The phone I think i'll get is the upgraded Nexus (I've got the Nexus 4 and will go to a 5). Telus will give it to me for 0 down but they have no deals on their plans and i'd have to pay 27$ more a month. stuff that. I can get it through my internet company for about what i'm paying now and after 2 years when the phone is paid off, if i keep the phone, my bill drops $14 a month to $35 plus taxes. While paying for the p hone, my bill will be just slightly higher than it is now. The plan gives me 200mb data a month and i don't use very much, sticking with wifi most of the time. Free canada long distance nights and weekends. unlimited text and picture text in Canada.
They also don't have a contract so i can always pay off the phone when i want and change companies if i wanted to. But this way it's all bundled with my internet and cable tv and landline as well. One bill. I must ask if they do billing to credit cards. They didn't before and probably don't now but i can ask. My credit card gets Aeroplan points, you see.
