Leaving on a Jet Plane... almost

What a long stressful day... i left work 40 minutes later than usual and stopped by my boss's office on the way out and said...if i don't make it in tomorrow it means my head has exploded! Thankfully, with a bit of help this afternoon, i managed to beat the report into submission. It had got to the point where i was so confused as to what i had tried, what i hadn't, what worked, what worked but caused something else to go tits up. *and* this isn't even working with Java. Anyway when i left work, i was feeling better.

Picked up some cards, browsed in the bookstore and walked through the mall to where the bus is. Glanced over and caught the Flight Center in my line of vision and remembered.... oh Shit! They called me a few weeks ago to come pick up my tickets and i never did get there. Less than three weeks to take off and no ticket! The Air Canada one is an E-ticket but the Aer Lingus/Aer Arann wasn't. Sheesh. Sorted now anyway. They give out a free Tootsie Pop, one for each ticket too :) Apparently lollies are better than gum for your ears when the cabin pressure changes. Keeps your mouth open and that's the trick.

Ok, I can't listen to that song without a tear coming to my eye. One of my good friends in Oz made me a CD for the day I left, that was the first song on the CD, and I didn't start playing it until the plane was taking off. Good memories. All good.
