tvordlj | CBC Corrie schedule pre and post Olympics

Saw this posted on corrie.net guestbook. But... it's not that they are catching us up. I think the hour long on Monday is because there won't be an episode Friday night due to the opening ceremonies. That week's four afternoon episodes will be what Sept. 5'th omni is. I don't think they're catching us up at all. The 8 episodes on Sept. 12 would be the omni that would have shown on the 5th and the regular omni for the 12th so we will still be the 2 weeks behind that they didn't show Corrie for the Olympics.

Monday August 9, 2004. Two episodes of Coronation Street will be scheduled back to back starting at 7 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. in Newfoundland.
Live coverage of the Olympic Games from Athens will pre-empt Coronation Street on August 15, 22 and 29. Look for it's return on Sunday September 5 at the usual time, and a special Coronation Street Marathon of 8 original episodes on Sunday September 12 from 8:00 a.m. to noon, 8:30 a.m. in Newfoundland.

The 8 episodes that air will be originals to help us catch up with the missed ones during the Olympics, and will not be repeated.
