Stopped snowing. We had a power surge mid morning for about a minute, took about 10 more for all the servers to reboot. Lights have flickered a bit most of morning. Our computer room UPS supply would normally hold enough power to power down everything properly. Past that time frame, if the power was still off, as an old computer room "To Do" sheet stated, "sit in dark and wait". Hopefully it won't start up again, or the commute home will be nasty. Rain is good, it will get rid of the snow but then tonight it will all freeze over. Hmmm... such a quandary ! LOL

One great thing about living in an apartment and not having a car is ... no shovelling or digging the car out! I remember one winter about 10 years ago we had 2 storms over one weekend in February and looking out the window to the parking lot, you couldn't see one car, other than the occiasional aerial or side mirror poking out, the way it had drifted. The car i had at the time was snowed in on one side, and completely clear on the other.
