Figures

I should have known. I really shouldn't be surprised. Why?
Well i spent several hours downloading what was labeled as an avi file of V For Vendetta "preview screening". I then spent an hour or so converting it to dvd format and another hour burning it. Guess what? It's a movie called AeonFlux!!! I wonder if people mislabel things out of malice or if they really had no idea that they weren't at the movie they thought they were at. Stupid gits. (and no, i'll refrain from suggesting what that in turn makes me lol)

Usually it's porn. I don't know why they do it, if you're referring to a download that's supposedly legitimate - I suspect that the ones that aren't legitimate are seeded from within the film industry, well, it's what I'd do in the face of piracy.

I doubt it's legit, it's off Limewire p2p so yeah, it's pirating and i hadn't thought of mislabeling on purpose because of that reason. I've not had any problems with any of the other few times i've done it. I have had that happen with music too, though usually just the band was wrong on the version of the song. I guess it serves me right :)
