I Get a Charge Out of You

I bought a new charger for my mobile today, anticipating that i wouldn't likely get the one back that i left in the Delta in Toronto. When i got home, there was a message on my machine from the Delta, no they didn't find it in the room. I thought the guy said they would send me a replacement and to ring them back. I dial, thinking in my mind that i could always return the one i bought. *snort* Oh yes, well they would send a replacement, but i'd have to pay for postage. It isn't that they would go out and buy one, they'd pick one out of a couple of boxes of lost ones they accumulated unless i would like to swing by and have a look myself to make sure i got one that fit? Um. Did you not just dial *long distance* to tell me that? Were you going to pay for the plane ticket so that i could "swing by"? And even if they figured out the right one, postage could cost 10 or 15 dollars. So what's the frigging point of it? Never mind, says i, i bought a new one anyway but, uh, thanks just the same.
