I've been craving fishcakes so i finally got round to making some. And it's something i so rarely make that i'm sure i didn't quite do it right because they didnt' stay together all that well. Probably should have put an egg in the mixture but other than that they tasted pretty good. Probably because i used instant garlic mashed potatoes and a few small real potatoes and chopped an onion in to it. Only problem is that the mixture made 5 large fishcakes and there's three more uncooked ones i didn't have room for! I guess i'll be eating leftover fishcakes for a couple of days!
I didn't really do a lot today, just puttered around here and tomorrow i need to do laundry. Yes i should have done it today. Also watched a bunch of downloaded stuff such as the first three eps of the Tudors Season 3, some Corrie and Starkey's Henry VIII. Am going to start in on Season 1 of The Wire.
Next weekend i'll be busy with laundry with the view to packing as much as i can and making sure i have all the bits and pieces.
