tvordljEmailing me on Tuesday to invite me to a surprise *pot luck* birthday party on Friday night is a bit short noticed. Just sayin'.
apparently the gold medal game on Sunday was the most watched television in Canadian broadcast history. They are estimating that about 80% saw at least part of the game. I wonder if that includes thousands of people that were out sharing tellys in bars and squares and other people's houses? Probably. Or it could be higher! The thing is, They couldn't have broken that medal record without the other 13 medal winners before them, could they? So well done to them all!
Saw a few pics from the wedding of my best friend's daughter. She had a hard time deciding on a dress but wow, the one she ended up with really was the perfect one for her! It's hard to imagine the little dark eyed smiley girl with long chestnut curly hair is this tall, elegant, smiley woman in a wedding dress!
