Liberals

The Liberals won the election. I didn't vote for them but at least it's better than the Conservatives, recently a merge between the extreme right wing Reform/Canadian Alliance/whatever the hell they're calling themselves this week party. I think people just didn't want the rednecks in power so they voted against them, anyone but them. The Conservatives did manage to get to the official Opposition with the French party, Block Quebecois in third place. These are the guys that want to split the province of Quebec out of Canada. If the Liberals can keep the New Democrats (left) on side i guess they'll be ok. At least it gave the new Conservatives the kick upside the head they deserve. Sorry. Rednecks don't get my vote no matter what they call themselves.

Amen, I couldn't have put it better myself. I'm amazed that people automatically forgot that after the merger it was still the Alliance/Reform but under a new name. I'm shocked the Liberals didn't make more of that.

I think they tried. They were also battling the thingo scandal. My other feeling is that if Harper isn't honest enough to bare his receding hairline instead of wearing it slicked across his head like a rug, then he's not honest enough to run my country. Ok not that any of them are all that honest. But that little bit of vanity and self indulgence that fools nobody still says a lot about a person. I have no problem with people dying their hair and even wigs might be ok if *they look natural* not like roadkill plastered on your head. Someone at work here said it's just his natural hat head look from the white hood hahaha

We are a fairly NDP Province right now. I was totally pissed the guy in our riding didn't win but the 'spoiler' votes went to the Greens. I know I said before I liked them but I wouldnt vote for them yet they need a bit more $$ behind them........maybe next election. The way it is now with the Liberals having 135, the NDP 19 and the one Independent from Vancouver - Chuck Cadman - top notch fellow by the way - the good hopefully will out wiegh the redneck loosers and the we hate Canadaers :)
