Today is the anniversary of the day i came face to face with someone wonderful.

"I did get there after 1 and saw him right away waiting where he said he would be. But just as he would have spotted me and my luggage, some tourists asked him a quesiton and he turned away. Damn, i didn't want to be 6 inches away when he first saw me so i held back a minute then was about 10 feet away when we made eye contact. Then it was like something out of a movie with us clutching on to one another in the midst of a busy train station, everything really did seem to fade away around us! I just could hardly believe i was there and he was there and ... oh ... wow..."

Yup. Scared, nervous, excited, a wreck! Gosh has it been 3 years! wow!

I'll know closer to the date. I am hoping we'll get the whole group together for a meal probably on the weekend of the 24th so will let you know what's happening.

That's an excerpt from a post i made a few days after i got back from that whole trip. The whole post had a bunch of things in it and it would have got lost :)

You and Graham share the same birthday then. It will hopefully be that Saturday, which is the 24th but i have to contact all the locals to make sure everyone is available.

Do you remember us briefly chatting about 'the new guy you met in the Corrie chatroom' when you and I met in Victoria? You were trying to decide whether to accept his offer of a place to stay during your next visit. :D

Couldn't have been him. I was last in Victoria in late 2003. I hadn't met Graham until after Christmas that year. There was a guy i had been corresponding with a little from another forum but he hadn't offered me a place to stay and he was Canadian anyway. Maybe we discussed this via email?

Ahhh, perhaps. My recall is dreadful, and I'll be the first to admit that. I do recall it was definitely someone in England that you were trying to decide about, and I was fairly sure it was Graham, so it was most likely email.

I was hoping you'd say that lol we shall have to organize the gang for that curry night out. Glenda has said before she'd come up to Manchester sometime if we gave them lots of notice and i bet i might be able to convince Rattler though that might be harder lol we will probably see him in London anyway on our overnight stop.
