(no subject)

So... we did the yard sale this morning.
Lots of people walking by but we didn't sell much on the whole.
I think i made a profit of about 4 dollars, after i bought a Tupperware container for a dollar.
Still, it was ok,
nice to be sitting out with niece, nephew, sister and mom in various combinations and chatting to the neighbours.
I did have to laugh though.
I had a few paintings on the table.
A few comments
but only one person even asked how much and she was sort of laughing because the idea she had for them was more of a joke for something.
First she wouldn't say and decided not to get them but i said oh come on, now i'm curious and i won't be insulted.
Turns out?
She thought of buying them for the wall in an outhouse at their cottage.
Seriously.
Would I have sold my painting knowing it was going to be hung in a shithouse?
Would you?

Anyway. Got mom's car, was going to get a few groceries,
Got there
No debit card.
That's because i had forgotten to bring anything from my purse when i packed my backpack yesterday.
I shouldn't even have driven.
No drivers' license.
Anyway i'm home now and i will probably nip out later.
Supper at Jack Astor's for Justin's birthday.
23!!!
Where did that dear little blue eyed baby go?

hung in an outhouse? Now I think I've heard everything. I wouldn't have sold it to put up on a wall in there.

BTW, who knew people still had outhouses?

Still see them out in the woods, hunting camps and things. And lots of cottages still don't all have septics.

Do you mean a toilet? Hey, at least people would spend time looking at it in there!

Yes a toilet, like the cludgy in the back yard, that sort of thing. Still see them out in rural areas with "camps" and cottages without running water. Well, yes, it would at least get looked at but i don't know what kind of damage the er.. dampness would do to it.

Well, in our bathroom we have a lovely picture that Tim made. It's something very nice to look at while we're ummm sitting. ;-)
