It's been one of those weeks

...And it's only Wednesday!

Monday i forgot my wallet.
Good thing i brought my lunch.

Tuesday, debit card and driver's license weren't in my wallet.
Nor in my purse.
I knew where it was at home though.
Switching purses/handbags always results in an accident of one sort or another.

This morning
a small trail of liquid running down the aisle of the bus.
Wonder where that's coming from?
Followed it back to a puddle...
between my feet. eeeeek!
Hmmmm...
it can't be salad dressing because my dressing not vinaigrette today.
I looked in the bag.
It wasn't a container of grapes like it should have been.
It was sliced olives!
Brine all over the bus floor starting between my feet.
Rainy day would have been better. Wet shoes would have disguised it somewhat.
I can't tell you what it sort of looked like. :-&
You can probably guess, though.
The bag and contents aren't in as bad a shape as i thought so the container must have been on its side right against the bottom of the bag.
Small mercies.
And i forgot my reading glasses. *squint*
just at the newspaper though.
Computer's fine with regular specs.

This morning I couldn't find my Oyster card wallet (which also has my credit cards *eek!* and the door entry card for work in it)

I looked everywhere, even went to the shop next door to ask if they found it, just in case I set it down whilst buying stuff for last night's dinner.

no luck

then back in my flat, I flipped open a handbag I had not used since the weekend. In it was my Pyster wallet, and an info-flyer the tube staff handed me at the station last night. It seems last night when I came in my brain thought it was a terribly clever and safe place to put my Oyster card. ?huh?
I have no idea why my brain thought that... do not use that bag for every day work use (not big enough) and I do not normally stash things like my oOyser card or keys in there, so putting it there is not in the least bit habitual.

*sigh*

Changing bags is an exercise in adventure lol I always keep my keys and bus pass in my coat pocket but if i change coats? heh... Anything i put in a place that i don't usually put it, could very well end up lost or forgotten

Oh boy - the bus story made me laugh out loud. :) On some of the Seattle bus routes, the trickle *would* be what it looked like.

Very possibly on some of our routes as well lol

olive brine...Had that happen last week as I was putting out the garbage, as the jar was put in full of brine, I dropped the bag and it went all over the hallway floor. Thankfully not on a bus, but equally as smelly.

that would have been a pms day for me..and I would have just wanted to come home after work and crawl into my bed and pull the covers up over my head and tell anyone and everyone to leave me alone lol.
Love the icon..looks exactly like shadow!
