(no subject)

I don't very often wear a skirt or a dress to work these days, mainly because i wear orthotics in my shoes and don't have the kind that fit in dressier shoes. I can only wear sandals a day at a time here and there or my back starts hurting. Also, i absolutely detest pantyhose so only wear skirts in summer when i can get away without, wearing sandals. So why is it, the few times i do wear a skirt, it turns out to be windy? Yes, we have more windy days here by the ocean than in other places, but it will be calm and barely breezy until the day i step out to get the bus. It actually plays tricks. First thing in the morning, there's no wind. That comes up later so when i'm on the way home and going to the bus, it's blowing all over the place and i have to walk and stand holding my skirt to my legs in one hand and my purse and bags in the other. Typical.

too bad you couldn't sew little weights into the hems of dresses to help keep them from blowing up.

Probably could. That's what the Royals do actually. or so i heard. I don't wear them enough to bother though.

Many enos ago, when I wore skirts, they were straight skirts, not the long flowing kind of today. Nylons, NOT pantihose and HIGH heels! Ahhhhh, those were the days! :)))

I know what you mean:)
Speaking of wind... I'm about to put up a funny video of Hayley having a bad hair day thanks to the wind. ....if I can figure out how to upload it to youtube.

You can upload to Facebook and i think they have a link you can use to share it as well, if you find that any easier. Also flickr has video
