Packing!

I'm nearly as packed as i can be except for last minute stuff and ironing (yes it sounds silly to iron something that's going to be packed but believe me, travel wrinkles are different than the wrinkles that get left when your clothes sit in the basket too long). Having a last minute shoe crisis. I don't normally bring but one pair of shoes, something that will go with anything but this time am bringing my sneakers which will suit most things and if borderline, i can just shrug and say "i'm a tourist". But what to wear with my dress and skirt!!! I had bought a pair of brown suede shoes but trying them on again to day, the left one is really tight across my foot. I don't think i can manage to wear it for any length of time. I will try to see if it can be stretched but i think that has to be done over more than a day not just an hour or so. Pulled out older brown sandals in case. They aren't as nice but will do. It's always possible i might see something in London or Manchester before the wedding as well and if i do i can toss the old sandals away.

Schedule for next week is filling up :
Wednesday is just a recovery day.
Thursday i may be having lunch with a friend if i'm near where she works.
Friday is lunch with zoo_music_girl (12:30, Monument) and drinks at 6 with stevenothing and sparklielizard meeting at Marble Arch tube exit barriers.
Saturday is the pub get together, White Swan, Highbury Corner after 4.
Sunday looks to be tea at sushidog's.
The next week includes a meal out with my mates in Manchester and meeting steer on the Wednesday! (Time and place? are you out there? i've emailed you.... )
Then to Ireland for the wedding of the year :)

Touristy things i'd like to see/do in London are the Sir John Soane museum, the Bramagh Tea and Coffee Museum, Regent Canal cruise, Camden, Chelsea area, a bit of shopping of *course*. Need to hunt down the Swarf cd as well. :)
