Facebookers will know I have had the surgery and it all went well. Been here in hospital since Monday and should be home tomorrow. The surgeon was happy with the way it all went and seems confident the path lab results will be good. Won't get those for at least a month so will probably wait for the six week checkup. The nurses a d other staff have all been great and have had lots of visitors and texts and fb messages and I thank you all. I have graduated off the pain med injections so far and am up using the loo and walking. It hurts. But no worse than I expected. I did ask for a private or semi private room but I guess there were none available so am in a room with two others but am on my own on my side and I have the window. The roomies aren't too bad tho one has the TV on constantly. And I mean 24 hours though has the sound low most of the time. What is annoying is she. She starts clicking to change the channel click click click... Many many times. There can't be that many channels so she must be going around the loop 3 or 4 times with barely a second on each. Sheesh.

Anyway I have been waiting for someone to change the bed. They have stripped it and seemed to have forgotten to finish the job. I best go call someone.
