tvordljOnly a few more days before liftoff! By now I'd be more than half packed but with two people trying to move around the bedroom, there isn't room to leave the suitcase open on the floor. I really do have to print off all the paperwork, though, and file it in the folder to take. We have a lift to the airport so that's all sorted. I am contemplating checking both my case and carry on but then I'd have to have something to have the paperwork with me. Hmm... Graham is carrying both laptops in a lappy bag. I suppose I can put the folder in that. We're supposed to meet one of my best friends during the long Toronto layover which is one reason why I didn't want to be dragging the carryon around and having to go back through security with it. Flying business class means we can check two bags for free on Air Canada. I'll have to think about it.
Running down my list of items to pack, I realized that almost every one of my tshirts, tops and tank tops are some shade of purple! (or black, just one that's blue). I may have to rethink. Some of that is because the three tops I just ordered and picked up are all purple. Didn't realize I'd done that. The short sleeve tshirts for Hawaii are, at least, not purple! (orange, teal)
Doctor appointment last night so i have to get my prescription filled today or i'll run out while away. Flu jab today, check. Pedicure and hair cut last week. Check. Massage and chiro adjustment for Thursday.
G. is starting to pick up a few more artwork/caricature commissions. He delivered one yesterday and the guy was so pleased he gave him double what the charge was! I have to say it was one of his better efforts though they're all good. He's trying to save up for a new laptop. The one he's got is getting very frustratingly slow. It was a refurbished to start off when he bought it and I think he's had it about 3 years or just under. He needs a better one with the juice to handle the artwork.
