(no subject)

I got home and i'm absolutely spaced out. That's because i had to get home the scenic route. Well sort of. It wasn't scenic at 35,000 feet up. Here's the full story. Needless to say, I should have expected problems traveling in January but at least it was on the way home, not on the way over and the weather didn't impede the actual visit over much in the end. It was a lovely break and a really nice bonus visit with Graham. We didn't do a lot, just hung out together but that's quality time. It did break up the long winter between a visit in the fall and the one in May but i can't say I am keen to try winter travel again though i'm glad i did it for the Corrie stuff as well. You do take your chances and hope for the best. I'm glad i don't have to see the inside of a plane until October, though. Sick to the eye teeth of them at this point!

I got home about 12:30 and got to bed at 1 after a quick shower. Slept until 10 this morning because i don't want to lay awake tonight, having to get up at 6 for work tomorrow!
