Computer desk cleared off/out of all the junk. Weeded through some old software cd's for components i no longer have and tossed them out. cleared off coffee table to make room for nibblies and washed the china cups and saucers. Don't get to use them very often. Cheese is sliced and on a plate, dips and sauces in little bowls. Not sure i'm going to have room on the new desk for the cd rack so may have to line up cd's on the shelf over the monitor, judging from the photo on the flat pack.

Never found the desk- I'm sure it's extremely elegant/functional/ tasteful[delete where inapplicable], but had much fun on the website spotting Canadian English and Canadian French.

Boxing week.. got to take advantage of any post Christmas cash still floating around. A lot of people save a bit for the sales and buy for the next year. I like to go to pick up a few ornaments for my tree or half price Christmas cards or calendars. I never go to the early morning store openings because it's like a zoo then. Can get some good bargains if you're willing to do battle i suppose. It's all rampant consumerism though isnt' it.
