In answering the email for corrie.net i have seen a lot of odd requests, suggestions for the site, and delusional people write in. I've just had one of the stranger requests from a woman who was hoping that we could provide her or request on her behalf some items owned by or autographs by celebrities from Corrie so that she can sell them for IVF treatments. That's, in vitro fertilization. I can appreciate that this isn't cheap but raising money selling autographs and celeb souvenirs as well as items that her neighbours give her for car boot sales and flea markets? Well, i suppose she's enterprising anyway and good luck to her lol
The next email was from someone that wants to keep pigeons and has a yard about the same size as a character on the show and wants to know the dimensions of the pigeon coop they use on the show. I kid you know. That has to be a wind up, you say, but seriously, you just never know do you lol
sammantha came over for a long overdue visit and a gossip. Yay!
Our tropical storm ended up more of a tempest in a teacup, a lot of rain and a bit of gusty wind but not the tropical storm they were predicting. That's what usually happens but unfortunately you get complacent and when a nasty one really going to hit us, nobody believes it will be as bad as it ends up being, rare as they are.
Hmmm... i think it's time for chocolate.
