Nature Valley crunchy granola bars, Peanut butter flavour... mmmmmmMMMMMMMmmmmmmm especially with a large cuppatea
So the new bed is good. Seems a bit firmer than the one i tried in the store but it's ok. There's a small pillowtop on it and i have the featherbed on it. It's higher than the old one too so it's all a bit "Princess and the pea". Bought new sheets wtih an African print on them, looks like zebra stripes only the background is a mottled tan colour instead of white and there are animals along the border and on the pillowcases. :) Goes with the yellow quilt and comforter anyway. Speaking of the bed, did i mention that when i got the pieces of the bedframe apart, when the last two pieces came apart after i finally got the screw undone, one part clanked painfully against my ankle bone! OW!!! (SWEAR WORDS, LOTS OF SWEAR WORDS RIGHT HERE!)
We are putting a "card of thanks" in both local newspapers tomorrow. The Daily News is half the price of the Herald! Wow, advertising ain't cheap! It's nice to do it though because you never do get all the addresses you need to reply to everyone that sent cards or charitable donations and some people we have cards from, we have no idea who they are. Probably either people Dad bowled with or else they could be someone that one of his siblings knows and they didn't put the sibling's name on the card. We have a stack of cards and still get some trickling in through the post as well. It's so nice!
Graham is still offline, BT is still saying that the signal on his line is too weak. I don't know what they're doing about it though they keep calling him and assuring him it is being looked at. At least they *are* contacting him so he does know they haven't forgot about him. It feels very disconnected, no pun intended, not to be in daily contact with him. I call every couple of days but i miss that daily contact.
