tvordljIt feels marginally er... not so hot in here tonight. I hesitate to use the C word. I have the fan on but the overall temp seems somewhat lower though the apartment is still warm. There is cloud cover coming in already, though. They're waffling between still calling Earl a Category 1 and a tropical storm. They are still saying there's a hurricane "watch" for our area but that it's most likely going to be a tropical storm here.
I went to the passport office after work, expecting a bit of a wait. There always is but i've never gone in summer before. Man, the travel gods were on my side! I got issued a number, went straight to the counter and was back out in less than 10 minutes! She said it's never usually very busy in summer anyway. I got the feeling they would have preferred me come in when the passport actually expired in October but i like to have these things done early. I'm not planning on running away but you never know when that lottery will hit! (guess i better get a ticket, then, eh?)
