Saw the surgeon this morning. After a quick poke and prod he proclaimed me good to go. Stitches and incision are fine, i can now drive and lift and stretch without fear of injuring myself. That's a relief. I can carry my own laundry basket! I am still not back to my old energy levels but they're getting there. Stomach still aches and pulls a bit but that can go on for awhile. I'm to see him every four months for the first year and then every 6 months until the end of 5 years at which time, all being well, you are considered cancer free. That 5 year mark seems to be the standard. He says there's a very small percent this would come back because it was caught so early and contained in the uterus but they still check anyway. Now I can concentrate on getting lots of rest and enjoy Graham's visit. He always spoils me anyway.
I'm back at my own apartment now. They've sprayed the tub and it looks lovely but it's smelly. I have a scented candle in there and windows open. The smell is stronger in the bedroom than in the living room so i may keep the bedroom door closed to sleep if it's still strong. It will dissipate but it had to be done!
