When you are in IT and your other half isn't: (It's all about getting clear requirements!)
Other half: “Honey, please go to the grocery store and get 1 bottle of milk. If they have bananas, bring 6”.
You come home with 6 bottles of milk.
Other half: ” Why the hell did you buy 6 bottles of milk?”
You: “BECAUSE THEY HAD BANANAS”.
IT people can think very literally at times. If..then...else. I posted this on FB and someone commented that the other half must be a man but it isn't about male/female, it's about how the IT brain works. Ambiguity means you'll probably have to do something over again.
