tvordljEveryone around me is hacking up lungs and sneezing and if i manage to get out of this province on the plane on Friday unscathed it will be a bleedin miracle! Off to see the doctor tonight, will ask her about a flu shot. They have free ones at work but i will not be here when they do our floor.
Bought my friend Karen's son Jack a NS tshirt at noon and bought myself a canvas NS tote bag. I decided to take it on board in addition to the wheely carryon because in business class you are allowed an extra "business" type piece and though this isn't very briefcase-y, it's lighter than my soft sided briefcase which looks ridiculous considering it's filled with books, soaps, candles and gift bags. Might switch to my smaller purse, smaller wallet so it's not so heavy. Have decided to just take my smaller Olympus camera this time. Don't expect to need the wider angle or macro closeup capabilities of my Canon.
Am mostly packed. Can't fit in my dress, the one karen wants me to wear for her birthday dinner with her girl pals. But if i am taking the canvas bag, i might be able to put it in there, rolled up. Can iron it out there.
