Sometimes there is such a thing as a free lunch

There was an event on at the Parade Square today at lunch. WestJet, a western regional airline who has recently expanded service to the east had a big promo party on. They had ballots to win free trips, entertainment and free hot dogs and boiled corn on the cob. It was a beautiful day so i meandered over about 12:30 and got a dog and a cob and a bottle of water. Couldn't get close enough to the condiments so had to eat them both plain though the corn was prebuttered i think. Also too many people in line at the booth to fill out ballots.

Picking up a few groceries tonight for dinner on Sunday. Sis and Gary are coming over. I decided to ask Dad to take me as it's a pain to get there by bus and i'm not really up to too much bussing at the moment. I'm glad it's the weekend. My back is improving slowly but it's tiring too.
