Party = good. Band = ok. pulled.... no. Number of photos messed up = 3.. . accidentally took a photo of an empty water bottle on the table, no flash, out of focus. Was showing my camera to someone. Then left it on the macro (closeup) setting so next two photos are probably crap. Too bad.

Food was really good this year.

And it's too flipping cold outside.

I agree, [livejournal.com profile] naturalbornkaos Saturday's can be pretty boring or in my case today, mundane at best. Yet, i've got a few things done even if they aren't exciting..... laundry (3 loads), sheets shifted on the bed, dishes done. Nipped out for an hour to do errands: mail a parcel, put in film for developing, pick up a few groceries. I'm going to sit down with my Subway Southwest Steak and Cheese sandwich and watch the dvd of the Committments.

Seen on a sign on the way home "I was married by a judge. It should have been a jury"

My Christmas tree still has no ornaments on it, just lights and ribbon and the angel. Will decorate that tomorrow.

Storm warning. the Emergency Measures office took quite a beating for not appropriately warning the public about Hurricane Juan. Well they did and it was in all the papers and on the tv but people felt they didn't convince them that this time it really *was* going to be as bad as they predicted. Pah... Our weather is so unpredictable that it's no wonder that people are skeptical about it and if they choose to "wait and see" and figure we won't get the worst of it, then it doesn't matter how many warnings you give them. I admit to being one of those as well. We're supposed to get this huge snow/rain storm overnight and through tomorrow. BIG headlines in the paper and it's probably been on tv though i haven't had the local channels or the weather channel on. The newspaper did say it still could either hit us or pass us and now apparently it's going to be more rain than snow albeit heavy. And sideways i don't wonder. But they're warning us, make no mistake, they won't take that PR hit again if they can help it. Overkill, in fact. Can't be too careful and all that.

Wait and see. :)

Sis, if you see this before you go out tonight, have a fab time!!! I went through the closets again and have some tops you can have if you want them.

Apparently Hong Kong is experiencing a snake shortage. Snake soup is apparently quite popular there. Apparantly it's popular because men feel it preserves their "manhood"... virility.
