Jan. 20th, 2004 07:07 pmWhy does it feel like it should be later in the week?
Ran into two people that i worked with a number of years ago. One in the gym, she only worked with us a very short time but i used to see her at the gym when i went before. The other used to work in the Social Services department and at Amalgamation they were taken over by the Province's Social Services. Ran into her at the bus stop.
Getting my hair cut at lunchtime tomorrow, it's getting very out of shape and long.
Was looking at various airlines trying to figure out flights within the UK for this July. Discovered that the ferry to Kirkwall, Orkney is over 200 pounds and is a 7 hour journey each way!!! I can actually get a flight from Gatwick to Kirkwall via Aberdeen and return to Manchester for about 25 pounds less than that! I can get a Ryan air flight from Cork to Stanstead for about 33 Euro and Manchester to Dublin via Aer Lingus for .. oh i forget. Then i'd have to take the train from Dublin to Cork for Rose's wedding. But bloody hell that still converts to about $700 and that doesn't count the flight to and from the UK to here. I don't know, i might have to forgo Orkney but i really would like to see it. We'll see how the savings progresses.
