tvordlj: (pissedoff kitty)
I remember what i was going to say yesterday. I'd had a message from Flight Center about my flights to the UK and Ireland and they've changed the times *again*. Bloody Hell! It's no inconvenience really but it's further sign of A. Air Canada's dicking around yet again and B. Aer Arann must be a rather...er... "flighty" company ;) Air Canada now leaves Halifax 2 hours earlier than it always used to, taking off at 7:00 p.m. and arriving in Heathrow at 6:30 a.m. just in time for the morning rush hour commute into central London. Methinks the more expensive express train to Paddington might be in order rather than the Airbus though the Airbus will stop right outside the hotel on Bayswater. I expect i'll decide when i land, seeing as i can't get into my room before noon anyway. Aer Arann is a small newish Irish company that i connect to in Dublin to Cork. I started out on a flight that left Dublin about 10:30 i guess. They changed that to one earlier so i couldn't take that as you have to have X amount of time between flights (Manchester to Dublin arrives at 9 on Aer Lingus which thankfully has remained consistent...so far) So that connecting flight was changed to ..... 2:30 p.m.!!! Gahhhh.... Well i thought i would take the bus into Dublin to kill a couple of hours, have lunch etc and have time to get back to the airport. I shouldn't have to check in as i would already have my boarding pass. Now... that flight is changed to 1:30 and one hour less does make a difference... i'd probably only just get into Dublin and have about an hour or maybe 2 turnaround before i had to get back. That really might end up being a bit pressing if there's traffic or summer construction on the roads. I might have to stay at Dublin airport after all. Sheesh.
