Think i'll head over to Canadian Tire after work to get a kettle. I can manage through the week without one as i usually just have my tea when i go in to work in the morning. Don't often have it at night. But my Saturday morning and Sunday morning are set routines with my newspaper, breakkie, soaps (EE or Corrie) and my tea. I might get Dad to have a look at the old one and see if he can fix it. Maybe it's even made a liar out of me and is working again lol i haven't checked lately.

The problem with Canadian Tire is that you go in for one thing and see so much *stuff* that you come out with a lot of things you just discovered you *need*. ;) What started out as a store that carried auto parts and tires and a garage turned into a place that has sporting equipment, kitchen goods, tools, electronic, hardware, general DIY needs including electrical, plumbing and the like. They'll have Christmassy stuff now too. It's just one of those really cool all purpose stores. They also give out play "money", a small percentage of what you buy if you pay for it in cash. Canadian Tire Money can be saved and used to pay for stuff at the store and there's no limit. You can save it long enough to pay for something entirely if you want. I haven't saved it or i give it away because i go there so rarely but some people have wads of it thick enough to choke a horse.

Kettle purchased, tea made :) Caught a bus where i had to walk about 15 minutes home but the bus that would take me closer was the one i had just missed and would have to wait a half hour. No big deal. It's not that cold out tonight so it was a pleasant walk. 30 feet from home my phone rang and it *wasn't* a wrong number! :) Mom and Dad were sat in their car outside my building, dropping off a tape and picking one up. Well, Mom said Dad was coming by about 7!!! I don't get that many calls on the mobile that are actually for me but i do get a lot of wrong numbers and that's annoying.
