Right, sammantha will be here any minute. We're going to a psychic today. *cue Twilight Zone music* Should be interesting. One thing i'm sure of, getting your fortune told is probably going to relieve me of some of mine lol Ah well it'll be fun.

How did you know that?

I really didn't come away from the hour with the psychic, Edna, with the feeling of "oh wow, how did she know that?" though there were a few things that made me go Huh? Some of it was general, some of it could apply to a lot of women but really wasn't "me" fully. Possibly partially. I told her from the start that i didn't want to hear about anything to do with death. She wondered why, and that i was strong and could get through it and i'd be ok, she said that death is just people passing over to the other side. I said yes i believed that but i just didn't want to know. I think there was a point where she saw something do to with deaths but she didn't tell me. It was interesting, mainly positive. Over all i was pleased. I went into it with an open mind, only being a bit reserved when the first few things she said really didn't feel like they applied to me but later on more things did. She gave me a cassette tape but i haven't got anything to play it on! I'll have to borrow something or buy a cheap player to get more out of it because i can't remember a lot of the details around some things that she said.

Some things i was unsure of time frame, somethings that i seemed to think she was saying would happen, i could only relate to things that already had happened so it could be that the time frame was off or i wasn't interpreting it that way.

And in the Small World category, it turns out that she does know my friend Tracy and her family. Has for years. I knew Tracey and her mom, aunt and gran knew someone where they lived who was psychic and went to her over the years for readings and when i heard that Edna was from the same area i wondered if it was the same person. It was. But to show you how they don't always get everything, Tracey went for a reading two summers ago. She was pregnant, knew she was but wasn't showing but Edna didn't pick it up.
