(no subject)

Dad was in good spirits today. He had a few not so good days but it turns out he had asked for an ativan but they gave him a whole pill instead of a half and he was more doped up than usual. Mom and i did a bit of shopping after and i finally found something for the bed. I never will find the kind of blanket i want but i got a quilt from Sears instead. Quilts are something else i hadn't seen much of either. that will give me the weight i want along with the warmth.

I had a ruthless purge of my closets and drawers yesterday and sent three garbage bags full home with wyndancyr and another bag full to sammantha along with shoes which were just a bit too big for her.

Tomorrow i'm getting together with a lady that used to work with me, my old travel pal Carole. We'll have a little lunch and maybe a movie. I've heard The Family Stone was good so maybe we'll check that out.
