Happy Canada Day

National holiday today in Canada. It started off overcast and foggy so we cancelled our road trip to see that model village. Typical. By noon, the sun was out but we could see a heavy fog bank out off the coast and my Auntie that lives about half way between here and that village said it was foggy down her way. Instead, I drove my mom and my auntie over to Point Pleasant park where we enjoyed an ice cream and a little walk along the water edge of the park, stopping at the sailor's monument to watch the boats at the mouth of the harbour, including a heavily laden container ship arriving.
