(no subject)

It's been quite a dreary dark day. We've had a lot of heavy rain and the fog rolled in on top of it as well. It's a bit brigher now but still foggy and rainy but this morning it was downright dismal. So.... To brighten up my day i bought a new purse/handbag! It's bright almost a chrome yellow! and lemony yellow inside. I had my eye on it a couple of weeks ago. It's a good size so i may not have to drag around my canvas tote bag unless i have something bulky to bring. I can carry a book in it, an umbrella and my other gear which doesn't take up a lot of room. The strap isn't overly long though. For travel, i may attach a plain black one i have that's long enough to carry it across my body. I like having my hands free and it feels more secure that way.  You know, someone should really start selling purse straps so that you can change the straps without having to buy a new bag. Different colours and materials, lengths, styles. I bet you could probably use a belt, though, doubling it around and buckling it at one end if you just wanted a long strap.  Anyway...

It'll be big enough to carry my camera and gorilla pod if i go out in the evening and plan on taking night shots that need the tripod.   I have a new eyeglasses case that's bright lime green, Denise gave it to me for my birthday along with a fold up matching carry bag you can stash in your purse for emergency shopping ;) I have a small red credit card wallet and a purple pen, too. I'll be all the colours of a box of crayons  at this rate! :)
