(no subject)

Yes. I know it's been nearly two weeks since I posted. Graham arrived and we had a nice couple of days before heading to New York City. Rather than repeating all the stuff I'd already posted on my Travel blog, here's the links you'll need to read all about it:

There is still the final day to post about. It was a bit hellish trying to get home but that's a post for another day.

We had a really good time, though it tired us out as always. A bit of rain but two full nice days and part of another so that was good. Slightly better than average. Took some bus tours, one was a tv and movie location tour which was loads of fun. Went to the Guggenheim museum/gallery and were less than impressed. Neither of us is much for modern art for the most part and we didn't realize the balance of this gallery was heavy on the modern and (in our opinion) lighter on the art. We saw Rock of Ages on Broadway and it was most excellent!

Got back on Saturday night and celebrated mother's day with my mom and the family on Sunday. We did some shopping on Monday and did nothing on Tuesday. Today we did a nice drive into the Annapolis Valley and enjoyed the sunshine. Meeting friends for dinner both tomorrow night and Friday night and seeing the new Star Treck on Friday afternoon.
