Mar. 2nd, 2016 08:43 amIt's March and I haven't written in a week! I usually try to at least once a week or twice even if it's just randomness.
We celebrated three birthdays on the weekend, mine, my mother's and my nephew's, all which occur within two weeks. I have a lovely family! My niece is taking me to a painting night which is something fairly new around here it seems. It takes place in various locations, usually bars or restaurants, with a group of people gathering to paint, all doing the same picture, with the guidance of a local artist. We're going to do one of the Eiffel Tower. They supply everything, even an apron to keep you clean though I expect I'll wear an older tshirt anyway. You can buy drinks if you want. It will be a fun evening out with some "girl time" for me and Staci. Time together is a most excellent gift but of course I'm quite pleased with anything that someone is generous enough to give.
I'm on another countdown, the last one as far as visiting G. goes. We will have others, counting down to travels together but this time next month we'll be flying back here together and he won't be going back! It's hard to imagine it's actually happening, sometimes, after 12 years of being together. We'll be together for our first anniversary and that reminds me, I must remember to make a reservation at a lovely Victorian inn where we have a gift voucher. I saved it for our anniversary weekend in May.
