Apr. 23rd, 2016 07:53 pmWe went out to lunch and to a movie. This used to be something we might do while on vacation but now, it's a normal Saturday afternoon thing! (well, not an every-Saturday but it will be a regular thing if there's something on we want to see). It just makes me feel good that he's here and we can do stuff like this if we want to.
The movie was Huntsman: Winter War. It was ok, better than the first one I have to say but good grief, that fake Scottish accent that Liam Hemsworth is putting on is dreadful and they should never have allowed it! Emily Blunt was the main Queen Villain but Charlize Theron was in it too and she's so good! She really jumps off the screen. And I know she's got lots of makeup on and all that but she really is gorgeous!
Tomorrow will be a down day. Laundry. chores. Hanging out. Game of Thrones starts back up tomorrow night though it will be on late so i guess we won't see it for a day or two. We have a doctor's appointment on Monday so might not get round to watching it when we get back. We'll see. Might not be able to resist staying up a bit later! It's difficult keeping up with all the things we watch/download/record! I don't tend to stay up too late on week nights, liking that hour or so in bed to read while winding down and he won't watch something we both like without me! We're also watching Outlander, also on Sunday nights, Grimm, Gotham, Big Bang, and I also am recording Orphan Black and Vikings but he has to catch up on those before we can start up on those. Just as well. Might be better to save them for the summer when things quiet down.
