She shoots, she scores!

I answer the email for the Corrie.net website and we get some doozies, let me tell you. But that's not what i'm writing about today. A couple of months back we got an offer from a distributor. He wondered if we would like a promotion copy of a 10-dvd set of Coronation street highlight episodes from the 1970's for review or perhaps a contest. Oh yes we would. But it got sent to the webmaster, not to me unfortunately though i thought he was sending one to me. I emailed him at the time wondering, just on the off chance. Received a reply yesterday saying that they were putting out a new compiliation from the 1980's and did i want that one? Ho Yuss! Score! That compilation is worth £99! Sent him an address and also a correction on the press release he copied to me (If you don't know the characters, this won't mean anything but it's funny if you do.. they had highlights including Ken marrying Deirdre and later down the list Ken marrying Sally. Mind you the way Ken gets around, (and Sally lately too!) it wouldn't surprise me! Of course they meant Kevin marrying Sally). Anyway, i digress. I sent him my address but he emailed back and asked if there was a UK address he could send it to. Oh all right. I gave them
gramie_dee's address. :D If they do send it, then i think i'll just buy myself the set from the 1970's. I've seen it a little cheaper on Amazon though the price there is rising since it was released. Graham thinks i might get it cheaper in Tesco or Asda.
Does anyone from the UK know if Tesco or Asda will give you that tax rebate form that tourists can use to get part of the VAT back? I'm guessing not but i'll ask anyway.
