My Auntie Joyce passed away last night. She was my dad's oldest brother's wife. Although she was failing a bit the last few months, this was still a bit unexpected in that it seemed sudden though not totally out of the blue. She was in her 80's and diabetic and i think mainly her ailments have been complications due to that. She was kind, generous, warm, and she could be quite jolly. That's the word that comes to mind when i think of her. She had a great sense of humour and had a mischievous twinkle in her eye. She was well respected within the family and well loved. Her service, too, will be in the same chapel as Dad's.
