It was a pretty quiet weekend so you didn't hear from me. Friday after work i went to the gym since i missed Wednesday due to not feeling great. My Personal Fitness Dragon will approve. Also on Friday in the centre court of the mall the chiropractor's office had mini massages going on so i sat down and had a few kinks worked out of my neck and booked a massage for next week.
Have decided to take the day off on my birthday next week (next week! eek! already?). I'll sleep in, maybe go to the gym and then maybe have lunch with my mom. If i don't do the gym, i'll do it on Thursday.
We're getting our retroactive pay on Thursday's paycheque. Well i say cheque but it's direct deposited of course. It ended up being a little more than i calculated which was a nice surprise. Always useful with a trip in the offing. We have this hotel, Ibsens, booked for Copenhagen at a pretty reasonable cost. Seems nice and they have a good environmental policy going on too.
One of the day trips we have planned from Manchester is a visit to the Trentham Estate Gardens and the Monkey Forest. There's a lady that i've been writing to for a number of years who has moved to Malvern and we are finally arranging to meet face to face. This was her suggestion as a halfway point between Malvern and Manchester. We were snail mailing up until very recently when she finally got a computer and access from home.
I'd also like to go up into the Lake District again, to Keswick perhaps. I've yet to get to the Cumbria pencil museum!
