tvordljaggh. lost the whole entry!
So as i was saying
I did get my notebook/netbook. It's an HP Pavilion with AMD under the hood rather than Intel. 4 gig memory,dual core processor, 650 gig hard drive and Costco does a 2 year waranty and free tech support too. I got the wireless network set up and though at first it said it wasn't secured, i figured out how to get the password in and tested it with the iPod just to make sure. I've got about four passwords written down for different things so i hope i remember which is which. The keyboard is a lot smalller than i'm used to and there's keys in different places so that takes a bit of fussing. I can't find the little usb mouse i thought i had so i must have turfed that out. I'm going to get one , though becuase the touchpad is annoying. I also can't figure out what key makes the little blue characters on the keys function. The fn key doesn't seem to do it. I may break down and find the electronic guide for that one.
