I watched the season ender of Glee from the On Demand menu over the weekend and now I can't get "Single ladies" song out of my head. Aggh! I stopped watching it partway through season 2 when it started to be mostly music and only filler for the actual storyline and dialogue. Not enough Coach Sue! I did want to see the last couple of eps and the graduation one which was nice enough. Kurt's mechanic Dad did the Single Ladies dance for Kurt's graduation gift, a sort of "I love you and accept you for who you are" thing and it was good fun. But the song... aagghh again. I suppose it could be worse.
I've been reading but i've not been going through as much as usual, mainly because one book i had on the go was quite long and one i'm reading now is too so i've got one or two other short ones to dip into as well. I am in the process of rereading the whole Outlander series in preparation for the next book coming out early in the new year from what i heard (Diana Gabaldon). That will be book 8 and there are hints of a 9 in the future.
Geez even my own workplace is now making pre recorded info-calls to internal staff!!! They're switching email from Groupwise to Outlook (spit) because we're finally moving to be an all-MS shop and it's happening over this weekend. There have already been emails warning us and telling us the new user ids will be emailed and to write them down because you won't get to the email on Monday without that password and today there was a prerecorded call with the same info! I suppose they want to make sure, because not everyone reads the "system announcement" emails.
True Blood's new season started last night and i've recorded it. I'm quite excited to see it so will probably do that tonight. Mad Men's finale was last night too so that has to be watched soon. most of these cable/premium station series are very good but they're short! 10 or 12 episodes and they're done with for a year and it's a very long wait!
