Quickly before the bus

My niece's Confirmation was last night. I'm a "spare" Godmother as they needed a Catholic one for the register, the proper Godparents are not Catholic so i offered my name. I was the only one there last night though, the other two couldn't make it so i got to go up to the altar with her and her parents. It was an hour and a half and was getting quite warm by the end with all those people in there. The mass and ceremony were nice though. Kids all wore white robes. I guess it was kind of nice that way, nobody had to worry about what to wear but it kind of put me in mind of a cult LOL I suppose that's what organized religion is in a way ;)))

Back at the house afterwards, Staci put up with us taking pictures. All the kids are so grown up!!! A far cry from those drooly babies with huge blue eyes and blonde spiky hair they used to be!

Off to the bus now...

hahaha a cult..that is cute..but I saw them as a bunch of monks!

Personally..I liked it. It seemed holy or something..all white robes..but you could be right..all they needed was the white pointy hoods lol..didn't look at it that way - still chuckling.

I was thinking that too..when we were all taking pictures..how grown up they are. Sighhhhh.
