Haven't been around the last couple of days too much as have been very busy at work. Is anyone else having trouble reading this LJ format? I changed it to "magazine" style and my mother says it's black text on navy background for her but both of my browsers show yellow on black. Check my main journal, not your friends pages, thanks.

Work.. the gal that used to work for us has started Yay! Nice to catch up with her. We've been busy bashing a problem that has been making life difficult and we've decided to do things the better known way instead of jury rigging it (i won't go into it here, you'd have to know Oracle developer to make head or tail of it). So will lose a little time redoing stuff but it will make the aggravation quotient come down a little while we're trying to make the little bastard programs work.

Life... Caught up with my friend Alan last night on irc. He's been struggling with another bout of depression over the last couple of months. He's been battling it for years, some times better than others. Good news is that at least he's been going to the doctor regularly. He says he's functioning and that's about all. I worry. I've not ever been through it so i can't really offer much more than a shoulder and an ear but i can at least let him know i care and maybe give him a chuckle now and then.

I have to remember to get a baby shower gift for this weekend. *writes note to self and sticks on monitor*

Yellow on blue for me too and I can see it fine. Sorry to hear about Alan - I remember him from the time or two that I braved the corrie chat room a few years ago. He was very funny.
