tvordljAM going to take the dress to a tailor tomorrow after work. The lady i was thinking of asking is away and i want to make sure it's done before that ceremony though that's 3 weeks away. I need shoes but in the meantime i am thinking of getting an older pair dyed to match. They are currently a metallic sort of bronzy colour. I don't know if they can be changed but i'll go in and ask. I gave away the dress that matched the shoes anyway. Damn, just realized i have a matching purse but it's not leather so probably won't dye. Never mind that. I have a very cool and classy black bag with silver chain and hard sides that Tracey gave me one year for Christmas. I won't probably take it to the awards thing anyway, the purse, it's more of an evening purse.
The tailor i called said approximately 10 $ max. to fix the sleeves and 8 "and up" for the hem. It's a fairly flowy skirt so it may cost me about 15 or so to hem it. I could do it myself, but i'm afraid i won't get it straight. I could probably do the sleeves myself but i might as well get it all done at the same time.
