Reality check

Coronation Street may or may not be relevant to your world but this posting will probably make you chuckle anyway because it's not really about that per se. It's about people who can't separate television from the real world. In Canada, we get Corrie episodes nearly 6 months behind the UK so Dennis Stringer has just died on our screens. Last year a character named Alma suffered and died from cancer. I field the email sent to the corrie.net website and in both cases, and in others, i end up seeing a few from people who really believe that the actor has died in real life! "Real Life" being a vague concept for them i think. Hello! It's only a television program. It's called ACTING! Never fails to flabber my ghast when i see or hear about people that get THAT involved in television. Sad really.
