Quietly

People seem to be scarce on the LJ ground this weekend. Either they've been really busy or have, like me, done nothing much to write about and decided not to bore people. Weather's still nice but cold at night here. Had a lovely chat by phone with Rattler yesterday, for those of you that know him, things are just fine. I can't believe tomorrow's October already!

Foot in mouth disease strikes again

So i'm over at the city transport department this afternoon walking them through a new system i wrote. One short older fella, one is tall, around my age. Not bad looking, a fellow techie, and a nice guy. We walk back out to the front of the building afterwards and he's limping heavily. I mention it , thinking he injured himself somehow. You guessed it. He limps all the time. I am sure i've seen him move around before but never noticed. ARgh! Apologize profusely, get to other supervisor's office via the rubber side of the mat, not easy considering both feet in mouth! Figures.
