I just watched the Talented Mr. Ripley on dvd this weekend. I really like that movie. It's about self... who you are, who you want to be. It's not about making yourself a better person because then, you're still you. It's about seeing another person and not wanting to be yourself, wanting to be them instead. It's a creepy movie and even creepier book by Patricia Highsmith. She's written a few Ripley novels, i must scare them up at the library sometime.

I also saw a movie last night called Far From Heaven.. will write about that later...
